The makeup world is still in the dark about the future of makeup, but a new report suggests that beauty brands are starting to make a comeback.
The New York Times reports that beauty brand Benefit is bringing back its “skin-care” line with a new line of products that aim to help “boost skin tone, soften fine lines, and restore elasticity.”
In the past few years, the beauty industry has been plagued by the issue of high-pigmentation products, as consumers were increasingly worried about their appearance and potential health risks.
While the issue was initially seen as cosmetic, a recent study found that high-end skincare and beauty products are a key part of the makeup industry.
The study found the following to be the most common skin conditions associated with high-priced skincares: eczema, psoriasis, rosacea, psoriatic arthritis, and acne.
While the study found high-quality skincARE products are becoming more widely available, consumers aren’t happy with the products they are receiving, so Benefit is introducing a new, affordable line of skin care products to help the cosmetics industry get its act together.
As the New York Daily News notes, Benefit’s SkinCare line includes three different products that range from $5 to $40.
While there are some skincarents that are more affordable, like the brand-name, more-expensive DermaCare, others are more expensive, like DermaPure.
The new skin care line is called “Beauty and Skin” and is made up of three different formulas.
Each product comes with a “beauty palette,” a “skin treatment kit,” and a “natural skin care oil.”
